 I found the software very straightforward and easy to use.
 It did not work for me. The file I have a problem with is on my mp3 player. I can go into it with explorer but your package can't see it as a drive.
i was having one DVD cd with softwares and i wanted to make copy of that DVD but i cant able to remove attributes from that DVD i also copied it to my hard disk but when i try to clear read only it didnt worked what to do can u help me regards Abdul Basit
I am very sorry to say that this product did not work for me, however :The Attr command line tool did not help either.If you think this tool is doing stuff "under the bonnet" which you could not do any other way - you'll be dissapointed.BUT if you want a tool that will do what attr does, but without the hassle of bringing up a command prompt or looking up the command flags - then this tool is probably fine.Any pecieved bugs in this software are MORE LIKELY to be the fact that windows read-only flag in ...

 Got to the \'Installation Complete\' dialog and it locked up...Restarted and started the 2hotspot app. Came up with a message saying \'Manage 2hotspot from the system tray\' and showed a little icon showing what it was supposed to look like.Needless to say, there was no icon in the system tray.Complete waste of time.

 Crashed my network, uninstalled immediately.

Thanks for your note. Over the years I\'ve built myself and others quite a few computers. Each, over time, was used and recycled with exception of the Hard drives, which I\'ve retained. The drives used were ATA, SATA and Ultra SCSI. I decided shortly after downloading the single pass version of Active Kill Disk that I would instead purchase the Active Kill Disk Professional Suite v5.2 allowing me to sanitize the drives using DoD specification 5220.22-M (triple pass overwrite) and then redeploy them should I see a need. I am now licensed to use Active Kill Disk Professional ...

active kill hp crasched hp 11 disk did not work had spare xp pro plus vista home up date put on vista on it was not good for my chiset or video card ati 1550 it would disable chipset no update to chipset could not go over vista with xp pro so had to take out vista only way was to use software that would clean harddrive active kill did that put xp pro back on but when i did updates there was a down load in there for active kill not sure about that but it seems to work
 Laptop erasing. The program is simple to use and also user friendly: it is non difficult to start a complete wipe and solved me the problem of reselling my old lapotop securely. The shipment method should be improved: I entered a bad mail address and now I can't modify, so you could first send a messasge before to proceed selling. In that way, distract users like me, could find the error.

Quick efficient and deadly. I needed to erase the contents of a vintage 1995 laptop before it went off to be recycled.Killdisk wiped it in 6 minutes with no problems.I'm about to upgrade to the full feature version as permanent place in my toolbox.
